Rita Shirlene Hoffman, 79, of Irving, TX passed away November 21, 2019. She was born December 5, 1939 in Griffin, Georgia to the late Russell Banks and Evrie Griggs. She is preceded in death by her husband, William Dale Hoffman, she is survived by her sons; Jeff Hoffman of Irving, Texas, Shawn Hoffman of Roanoke, Texas; Brothers, Harry Banks of Griffin, Georgia, Jerry Banks and wife Judy of Greenville, Georgia, Larry Banks and wife AllieJo of Granville, Georgia, Bruce Banks of Griffin, Georgia; Sisters, Marsha Lynn Banks Harrell and husband Howard of Hughes Springs, Texas and Judy Banks Longsworth and husband Lee of Cumming, Georgia. The family will receive friends 6:00 8:00 p.m. Monday, December 2, 2019 and a rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 2323 Cheyenne Street, Irving, Texas.
