RITA BREITLER CONROY, age 67, a resident of Keller for 14 years formerly a longtime Irving resident of 53 years, died Thursday, December 11, 2014 at home. Born May 24, 1947 in Dallas, Texas, she was the daughter of George A. Breitler and Dorothy C. Threadgill Breitler. Rita graduated from Irving High School. On June 17, 1972, Rita married Jerry Conroy. She was an active member of Plymouth Park Baptist Church in Irving where she taught GAs. Presently a member of First Baptist Church of Keller, she was a member of Bible Study Fellowship. Preceded in death by her parents, survivors include her husband, Jerry of Keller; daughter, Patty Conroy Love of Keller; son, Billy Conroy and wife Sedette of Keller; grandchildren, Makenzie Love, Corey Love, Chandler Seth Conroy and Courtland Richard Conroy; great grandson, Ayden Krones; sister, Bonnie Raddatz and husband Jerry of Irving; and brother, George A. Breitler and wife Ann of Lantana. Funeral service is 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 15 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving with Rev. Bob Harper officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving.
