Richard A. Salas of Grand Prairie, passed away on May 15, 2017 at the age of 57 at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. Richard was born on December 9, 1959 in Dallas, Texas to Tony and Mary Lou (Allen) Salas. Richard was a proud member of the Boy Scouts of America; loved fishing and bowling. He married Kelly Foster on June 17, 2016 in Grand Prairie. Richard was a production manager for Printegra, Inc., in Arlington for 25 years. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Lou Johnson; uncle, George W. Allen; aunt, Elsie Allen. Survivors include: wife Kelly of Grand Prairie; children: Ashley Larson and husband Tim of Euless, Clay Salas of Grand Prairie, Coty Brown and wife Ashley of Midlothian; six grandchildren, Raiden, Bentley, Natalie, Landon, Lars, Reed; father, Tony Salas of Oklahoma; siblings, Jack Rankin and wife Mary of Arlington, Roxie Anderson and husband Mark of Grand Prairie, Mistral Salas of Oklahoma and Leah Salas also of Oklahoma. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 20th at 3:00 p.m. at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, 606 W. Airport Freeway, Irving, TX 75062.
