RICHARD BRIAN MURPHEY, age 49, a lifelong resident of Irving, passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2018. Brian was born December 21, 1968 in Irving, Texas to parents Richard Dudley and Melody Ann (McCargar) Murphey. He married the love of his life Rebekah Seidmeyer in September, 1990.
Brian was a talented jack of all trades who loved movies, motorcycles and is best known for always being there helping others. He also enjoyed working on DIY projects at home. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded by his mother Melody Murphey.
Survivors include: devoted wife Becky Murphey of Irving; cherished daughters: Brianna Murphey, Bridgette Murphey, Erin Koen, all of Irving; father Richard Dudley Murphey of Palestine; sisters: Suzanne Murphey-Flatley of Irving, Christy Coker of Palestine; brother Scooter Murphey of Farmersville; numerous nieces and nephews and other extended family.
The family will receive friends 6-8:00 pm, Friday, May 4, 2018 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 W. Airport Freeway, Irving, Texas 75062. Funeral Service will be 10:00 am, Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Donnellys. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, 1413 E. Irving Blvd., Irving, Texas 75060.
