RHONDA E. RANGEL, age 48, a resident of Irving for 10 years, died Sunday, December 29, 2013 in Irving. Born March 14, 1965 in Junction City, Kansas, she was the daughter of Dwight Edwin Mhire and Katherine Flynn Mhire. On November 20, 2005, she married Marcus Rangel in Las Vegas, Nevada. Rhonda was Catholic. Survivors include her husband, Marcus of Irving; daughter, Chelsea Armentor and husband Chad of Lake Charles, Louisiana; daughter, Kortney Hooper of Lake Charles, Louisiana; step-daughters, Carrie Miles of Bedford and Tiffany Copling of Gainesville; grandson, Kayne Armentor; 3 step-grandchildren; mother, Kathy Madill and husband Ben of Irving; sister, Cindy Cortez and husband Al of Euless; and 2 nephews, Chase Cortez and Bransen Cortez. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. Funeral service is 1:00 p.m., Thursday, January 2 in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.
