Redge S. Thompson, 62, of Grand Prairie, died Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Baylor, Scott and White Medical Center in Irving. Born October 8, 1955 in Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt, Germany, he was the son of the late Joe Thompson and Marguerite J. Brahy Thompson. He was married to Colleen J. Pearson Thompson. He worked in quality control for Boeing/BAE and was a member of the SPEEA Union. Survivors include his wife Colleen of Grand Prairie; daughter Amanda Elaine Thompson Lane; son, Jeffrey Scott Thompson; step-daughter, Jessica C. Patzer; sisters, Jane Callahan and Pats Laniak; and brothers, Mik Thompson and Phillip Thompson. Funeral services will be 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway in Dallas 75211 under the direction of Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home in Irving. Those wishing to attend will need to assemble in Lane 1 at the cemetery by 8:45 a.m. Tuesday.
