Jerry Randell "Randy" James, 58, a life-long resident of Irving, died suddenly on Friday, August 20, 2021. Born August 6, 1963 in Irving, He is the son of Jerry Don James and Margie Sue Welborn James. He grew up in Irving, graduated from MacArthur High School and was a general contractor in home remodeling. Survivors include his parents of Irving; two daughters, Madalyn Burkhart and husband Justin of Hurst and Nicole Newberry and husband Justin of Decatur, Texas; two sisters, Donna Pate and husband Darrell and Pam Couch and husband Don; two grandchildren, Wyatt Burkhart and Madilynn Newberry; several nieces and nephews including Shaun and Jennifer Pate, Amanda and David Gomez, Ronnie and Cierstin Couch and Cole Couch.
