Ramiro P. Ramos, Died on Wednesday, March 11, 2020, at his home with his wife at his side. Ramiro was born on July 23, 1945 in Realitos, TX, to Barbara and Manuel Ramos. He is survived by his wife Genevieve; their two sons and daughters-in-law Okie (Octavio) and Amy Ramos of Irving and Manuel Richard and Jenny Ramos of Renton, WA; grandchildren; Myriah, Genna, Eli, Shan, Camille, and Cash; sister Estella; brother Ruben, and numerous family members.
He loved his family, his treasure. Ramiro was witty, had a beautiful singing voice, and cherished the Sacrament of Marriage so much he would not take off his ring even when it was too big for his finger. A favorite pastime was watching his grandchildren play sports. He enjoyed attending his grandchildrens music concerts. Each fall he spent a day at the Texas State Fair where he enjoyed the company of his grandchildren and eating a corn dog. An employee at the company for 39 years, Ramiro enjoyed working at Gifford Hill/Hanson Concrete Products and appreciated the dedicated workers he supervised.
The three seizures he experienced the past five months were debilitating, but the support and love of family and friends bolstered him. He did appreciate those who prayed for him, took communion to him, brought food to him and stayed with him while his wife went to church, Holy Family of Nazareth, also his family, his treasure.
Funeral services will be in Robstown, TX, at a later date. Ramiro will be buried next to his parents and seven brothers in Robstown.
Glory to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning is now and will be forever. Amen
