RALPH DOUGLAS SHAW, age 67, went home to be with the Lord on April 7, 2016 after many years of battling numerous illnesses. He was a loving and devoted husband and father. He leaves behind, his wife, Sandra, his son, Michael Douglas Shaw and wife Amy Stewart of Lipan, TX; two grandchildren, Makayla Dean and Isaac Douglas; sister, Pat McCain of Dallas; and his mother, Mary Shaw Spring of Dallas. His accomplishments were many as a pastor. His love and mission in life was to study the Word of God and share his faith in the saving power of Jesus Christ. He graduated from the University of Dallas with a Masters in history and psychology, attended SMU and ORU where he came close to attaining his PhD in Ministry, attended Dallas Theological Seminary, Baptist Theological Seminary, and UTA. Ralph was the senior pastor at First United Methodist Church, Justin, TX, First UMC, Tulsa, Saint James UMC at ORU Towers, Tulsa and Pleasant Valley Evangelical Church, Niles, OH. A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Normandale Baptist Church, 2101 Chapel Creek Blvd, Fort Worth.
