RAIMUNDO RAY IZQUIERDO, JR., age 58, a resident of Irving for over 30 years, and an employee of Southwest Airlines for over 35 years, died Friday, January 31, 2014, at Baylor Medical Center in Irving. Born December 11, 1955 in Pinar del Rio, Cuba, he was the son of Raimundo Izquierdo, Sr. and Berta Suarez Izquierdo. He married Patricia Demers December 16, 1997 in Irving. He was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Irving. Preceded in death by his parents, survivors include his wife, Patty Izquierdo of Irving; son, Brandon Izquierdo of Irving; daughter, Teresa Izquierdo of Colorado; son, Christopher Izquierdo and wife Brittany of Irving; grandchildren, Priscilla Izquierdo Infante and Londyn Brazee; brothers, Emilio E. Marquez of California, Tony Izquierdo of Hillsboro and Francisco Izquierdo of Irving; a sister, Hilda Marquez of California; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be 3:00 p.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 2901 North O'Connor Road, Irving, TX 75062 on Saturday February 8, 2014. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
