Obituary

Priscilla Alden Clark of Irving, Texas made her transition on April 14, 2016. Priscilla was born June 4, 1940 to Edmund and Rena White in Ray, Arizona. She was a sister to three brothers David, Travis, and Terrell. Priscilla married Larry Cline Clark in 1959. They celebrated 50 years of marriage just prior to his passing in 2010. Beloved mother to Russell (who preceded her in death), Kenneth (Michael), Clifford (Michelle) and Thomas (Kiley) and grandmother to Justin, Christian, Travis, Matthew and Andrew. A graduate of Texas Womens University, she worked for the Irving School District as a Kindergarten teacher for decades. If it is true from the book, All I Really need to know I learned in Kindergarten, then there are thousands of smart children in the world because of her. As a Girl Scout she received the highest honors, and was recognized by the Boy Scouts with the Silver Beaver for her 50 years of service to them. Priscilla was a member of The Red Hat Society and a frequent volunteer for her beloved Irving Theater. She loved to travel with her friends, attend the theater, spend time with her family and volunteer at her church. A keeper of the faith, her service to the Episcopal Church can still be felt all across Nevada, Arizona and Texas where she served in many positions in the church. Visitation was held at Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home on Monday April 18th. Services were held at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Irving, Texas on Tuesday April 19th with internment at Bishop Mason Mausoleum, 4800 Wichita Trail, Flower Mound, TX 75022. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the SPCA of Texas, www.SPCA.org.
