Phyllis Joan Hall, 87, of Irving, Texas passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2023. She was born June 6, 1935 in Oblong, Illinois to the late Annis Marie Murphy and Joe Brown. She was raised in the Oblong, IL home of her beloved maternal grandparents, John Sherman Murphy and Clara Alice Hodge Murphy. She is preceded in death by her husband David B. Hall, mother Annis, and her sister, Norma Jean Richards. Phyllis Joan Brown Hall is survived by sons Lisle Gwynne Hall, II and wife Janice; daughter, Suzan Sprinkle and husband Phil; granddaughter Dr. Caitlin Miles; grandson David Miles and wife Jacque; and son Phillip Hall who devoted the last many years making sure she was safe, healthy, and well-cared for. Phyllis is also survived by nephew P.D. Highsmith of IL and several rescue cats. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, 1413 E.
