Phyllis Ann Bruner, age 81 of Irving, Texas passed away on October 26, 2023. Born June 5, 1942, in Deleon, TX to Comer and Blanche Steele where she resided for 7 years. In 1950, she and her family moved to Irving, TX. She attended Irving Schools and graduated Irving High School in 1960. Soon after, she married the love of her life Elvis Bruner on July 21, 1962, in Irving, TX. She was a secretary at their business, Empac Design, for many years until they retired in 2010. Phyllis was a longtime member of MacArthur Blvd Baptist Church since 1976. Phyllis is preceded in death by her husband, Elvis Bruner, parents, Comer and Blanche Steele, sister, Norma Steele, and brother, Cecil Dickey. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Sheri and John Shelton, nephew Greg Shelton and his fiance Becky Torres, and grand-nephew and niece, Carter, and Claire Shelton all of Fort Worth, TX. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday November 8, 2023 at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving. SERVICES Funeral Service
