Pete H. Briseno, 86, a resident of Irving since 1964, died Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Medical City Las Colinas. Born August 19, 1932 in Dallas, he was the son of the late Encarnacio and Mauricia Hernandez Briseno. He married Rachel Araujo December 17, 1949 at St. Marys Catholic Church in Dallas. He was a tile setter and worked many years for Metro Tile of Dallas. He was a member of St. Lukes Catholic Church in Irving. The last of eleven siblings, he is survived by his wife Rachel of Irving; two daughters, Naomi Rogers and husband Steve and Martha Matlock all of Mineola, TX; two sons Jaime Briseno and wife Pam of Irving and Bill Briseno of Dallas; ten grandchildren; and eighteen great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. A Rosary will be said in the chapel of the funeral home at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 7, 2018 at St. Lukes Catholic Church, 204 South MacArthur Blvd. in Irving. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving. SERVICES
