Peggie Jewel Batis, 86, of Irving, died on February 1, 2018. She was born in Aubrey, Texas on July 12, 1931 to Oscar Ross and Dollie (Conway) Thompson. Peggie was a secretary for Xerox for 22 years. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl Eugene Batis in 1996; siblings: Joseph Lavern Thompson, Dorothy Lee Thompson and Ruth Thompson. She is survived by son, Michael E. Batis of Irving. Peggie is buried in Sanger, Texas.
