PAUL CASTILLO, age 46, a resident of Irving for 30 years, died Monday, November 30, 2015 at Baylor Scott and White Medical Center in Irving. Born April 9, 1969 in Lubbock, Texas, he was the son of Juan Castillo and Juanita Garcia Castillo. Paul was the owner and operator of Runner-Up in Irving for 22 years. He was a member of Holy Family of Nazareth Catholic Church in Irving. Preceded in death by his mother, Juanita Garcia, survivors include his wife of 15 years, Diana Castillo of Irving; son, Gavin Paul Castillo; stepdaughter, Yleana Castillo; father, Juan Castillo; sister, Lisa Castillo; brother, Dino Castillo; sister, Jennifer Castillo and husband Thomas Nunez; grandmother, Ricarda Flores; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, December 3 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. Mass of Christian Burial will be 12 noon, Friday, December 4 at Holy Family of Nazareth Catholic Church, 2323 Cheyenne Street in Irving with Fr. Joel Bako as celebrant. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, 1413 East Irving Blvd. in Irving.
