PAUL VERON BORDERS, age 40, a resident of Irving, died in Grand Prairie. He was born April 8, 1971 in Irving. He was a member of the General Assembly and Church of the First Born. For 20 years, Paul served as a diesel mechanic, working with his father and uncle for a portion of that time. A caring and loving husband, father, son, brother and nephew, he is survived by his wife, Stefanie Bench, they married on Thanksgiving day, November 25, 1999; his daughters, Brittany Borders and Maddie Borders; and son, Caleb Borders, all of Irving. Also surviving are his mother, Darlene Schroeder and husband Stephen of Flower Mound; father, John P. Borders, Sr.and wife Barbara of Greenville; brothers, Johnny Borders of Flower Mound, Billy Borders of Wilmer and Chris Borders of Flower Mound. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 23, 2011 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Rutherford and Rev. Rob Morris officiating. Burial to follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving. Memorial contributions may be made to the SPCA through DFW Humane Society, 4140 Valley View Lane, Irving, TX.
