Pattie Bateman, 88, of Grand Prairie, Texas, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at Arbrook Plaza Rehabilitation Center in Arlington, Texas.

Pattie was born on March 30, 1928, in Hernando, Mississippi, to Willie Johnson and Erma Malone Johnson.

Pattie was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved daughter, Diane Robinson.

Left to cherish Pattie's memory are her daughters, Carolyn Michelle Johnson and Vernadine Massey; her son-in-law, Eric Robinson; her granddaughter, Bettina "Tina" Johnson and her husband, Shawn Johnson; and her great-grandchildren, Torian Johnson, Terin Johnson, and Trinity Johnson.

Pattie will be fondly remembered for her "sassy" personality, quick wit, and the joy she brought to those around her. Her spirited nature and loving presence left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends for generations to come.
