Patricia Mccann
Newton
Jan 10, 1946 — Jun 26, 2025
Patricia McCann Newton went to sleep in the arms of Jesus at the age of 79 on June 26th, 2025. She was born to Carol Joyce McCann and Charles Keith McCann on January 10th, 1946, in Seminole Oklahoma. Pat is survived by son Tony Harrel (wife Sondra), daughter Tami Stringer (fiancé Doug), and daughter Traci Henderson. She also leaves behind 9 grandchildren: Ashley Wallace (husband Nick), Emily Stringer, Lindsay Willeford (husband Seth), Michelle Harrel, Mandy Harrel (partner Dustin), Jordan Henderson, Abigail Stricklin (husband Andrew), AJ Harrel (wife Emily), and Shelby Stringer (fiancé Zayne). Pat is also leaving behind 10 great grandkids: Jaxon, Alex, Tuff, Mack, Caroline, Adalynn, David, Simon, Amelia, and Emma. She was also loved and will be missed by a countless, extended family.
Pat is preceded in death by her father Charles Keith McCann, mother Carol Joyce McCann, late husband Harry Newton and her sister Sharen McCann Robinette. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren fiercely and shared a special bond with each of them. Above all she loved Jesus and his Word. She attended MacArthur Blvd Baptist Church in Irving Texas for many years, spending most of her time volunteering in the nursery. She was unapologetic of her faith in what God's word says. Pat faced many hardships in life but overcame them all, including raising her three children on her own while going through nursing school. After graduating with her nursing degree, she faithfully worked as a nurse for 12 years at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, TX and Baylor Scott & White in Grapevine, TX. She had a passion for helping others which made her a great nurse. She will also be remembered as an avid crossword solver in her later years. As everyone knew her, she was a special lady and will be greatly and deeply missed until we all see her again.
A celebration of Pat's life will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, July 11th at Cross City Church of Euless.
