Patricia "Pat" Melton, age 75 of Irving, Texas, went to be with our Heavenly Father on February 23, 2023. Pat was born on March 6, 1947 to Joseph and Mary (Timko) Majancsik in Martins Ferry, Ohio and grew up in Barton, OH. After settling in Texas in 1980, she enjoyed a career as a medical secretary until her retirement in 2008. Pat was lively and adventurous throughout her life and enjoyed motorcycling, horseback riding, traveling and spending time with family and friends. Her most recent favorite way to have fun was riding around in what she referred to as "The Little Red Racer", which was the Torch Red Corvette that she and her soul mate Stephen Sartain shared. Pat is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mary Majancsik and brother, Arthur Majancsik. Left to cherish her memory are brother John (wife Sandy) Majancsik, son Pat (wife Becky) Mullins of Burleson, daughter Amanda Melton of The Colony, daughters Holly (husband James) Rauschenberg and Charlene Mazgaj of Ohio. Grandchildren Austin Mullins, Jacob Roccaforte, Jay, Jennifer Mazgaj, Joseph (wife Haley) Rauschenberg, Brittani Rauschenberg (husband Gary) Porter, and great-grandchildren Jeremiah and Ramah Porter, and her three special nephews, Tim, Andy and Teddy in North Carolina, as well as brother in law Wayne Melton of North Carolina. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 6th from 6-8pm. Funeral Services on Tuesday, March 7th @ 12:30 pm both at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at DFW National Cemetery.
