OWEN NEVERS, age 41, of Grand Prairie, Texas died April 16, 2004 at a Dallas hospital. Born August 28, 1962 in Kingston, Jamaica, West Indies, he was an aircraft mechanic for Delta Airlines. Survivors include his wife Florence Nevers; daughter Kanika Nevers, both of Grand Prairie; parents George and Linnette Nevers of the Bronx, NY; Michael Nevers of Norfolk, VA, Lloyd Nevers of Grand Prairie and Wayne Nevers of Norfolk, VA; sisters Joy Nevers of Austin, Lorna Nevers Barrett, Marcia Nevers, and Winsome Nevers, all of Brooklyn, NY. Service 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 20, 2004 at Donnellys Colonial Chapel, Chaplain Travis Maxwell officiating. The family will receive friends in the foyer after the service. A service will be held on Saturday, May 1st at 10:00 a.m., at the Tremont Baptist Church in the Bronx, New York. Burial will be at Kensico Cemetery in Valhalla, New York.
