ORVETTA CALDWELL, age 80, a resident of Irving since 1957, died Tuesday, March 8, 2011. Born December 1, 1930 in Allison, Texas, she was the daughter of Judd Warren Hunter and Bessie Alma Talley Hunter. Orvetta was a member of the Gospel Lighthouse Church in Dallas. Preceded in death by her husband, Claude D. Caldwell; her parents; two sisters; and one brother, she is survived by her daughter, Donna Mustard and husband Mike; daughter, Sharon Sanders; grandchildren, Heather Page, Shawn Sanders, Dustin Sanders; brother, Kenneth Hunter; as well as many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at a visitation held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 15 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Gregg Headley officiating. Interment service will be at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
