Omar "Pochie" Cabello, age 59, passed away August 25, 2021 in Irving TX. Born to Hortencia (Tamez) and Jose Cabello in Rio Grande City, TX December 9, 1961, Omar worked for the city of Irvings Traffic and Transportation department. He was a gentle soul. Loved his family, was kind and generous. Pochie enjoyed playing Texas Hold-em. He was preceded in death by his father, Jose; brothers, Jose Angel and Mario Ernesto Cabello; brothers in-law, Jimmy Ziegenfuss and August; sisters in-law, Maria and Elda. Omar is survived by his wife Rhonda Cabello; mother, Hortencia Cabello; sons, Christopher Ziegenfuss, David Lee Martinez Jr., Anthony Quinones, Alex Quinones; daughters, Consuelo Ibarra and husband Juan, Destiny Quinones; grandchildren, Preston Martinez, Shalynn Rose Lankford and Cameron Martinez; brothers; Francisco Cabello, Guadalupe A. Cabello and wife Rica; sisters Olga Barrera and husband Mauro, Ester Sanchez, Lydia Torrez and husband Guadalberto, Norma Britain and husband Jerry, Juanita and Husband Eliberto, Mage Garcia, Mary Lou Swanson and husband John, Maria Elena and husband Pepe and Maria Hortencia; mother in-law Mary Young; sisters in-law Donna Eichberger; brother in-law Billy Ziegenfuss and wife Sundy; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. A visitation with viewing will be held 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon on Monday August 30th at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel. A celebration of his life will follow from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Senter Park Gymnasium, 901 Senter Rd. Irving, TX 75060. SERVICES
