Odilia U. Garcia, 81, loving wife and mother, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2019. Born March 25, 1938 in San Angelo, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Pedro Urias and Martina Flores Urias. She was married for 64 years to Gregorio Garcia, Jr. of Lubbock, Texas. They moved to Irving in 1972, where they raised four children. She is lovingly known as "Vita," the youngest of 9 siblings, and as "Wella" to her many grandchildren. Odilia was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, daughter-in-law and granddaughter. She is survived by her husband, Gregorio Garcia, Jr of Irving; son, Lanny and wife Pamela J. of Euless; son, Gary of Irving; daughter, Dina Bravo and Ruben Gonzales of San Angelo, Texas; and son, Greg Garcia III and wife Andrea of Coppell, Texas. Grandchildren include Niki Sotkovski and husband Curtis; Tiffani Werner and husband Bryan; Zach Garcia, Alex Garcia and wife Jordan; Miguel Bravo; Gary Garcia Jr; James Pedro Garcia; Julie Bravo; and Jacob Garcia. Great grandchildren include Jaxon, Madox and Lexington Sotkovski. Memorial services are planned for 11:00 am Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 4000 Midway Road, Carrollton, TX with lunch to follow. Internment will be later at Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to the National Kidney Foundation. SERVICES Funeral Service
