Norman Joe Granberry, 74, of Euless and Paris, Texas, passed away on October 2, 2021 after a long battle with cancer. Joe was born November 20, 1946 in Texarkana, Arkansas. He retired as Sargent First Class in the Army after 20 years including three tours in Vietnam. He was a proud soldier of the United States Army with no regrets. Later he was a long-haul truck driver for 25 years and enjoyed viewing the country he fought for. Survivors include his wife, Gwen Granberry of Euless, Texas; two children; son, Shawn "Lil Joe" Granberry of North Richland Hills, Texas; and daughter and son-in-law, Abby and Jason Jones of Keller, Texas; two grandchildren, Haley Crews and Jackson Jones. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Village Baptist Church, 224 E. Grauwyler Road, Irving, Texas 75061 with Pastor Mark Jenkins officiating. Burial will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 25, 2021 at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211.
