NORMA J. GRIMES, age 83, a resident of Lewisville for 3 years previously from Wagoner, Oklahoma, passed away June 22, 2012. Born June 19, 1929 in Chouteau, Oklahoma to Haze James Collins and Georgia Rice Collins, she married Fred Grimes on July 28, 1946. Norma was the owner of Little Rascals Day Care in Grand Prairie and a proud Reservette of the Grand Prairie Police Department. Preceded in death by her parents and one son, Ronnie Grimes, survivors include her husband; daughter, Dana Donnelly and husband Robert of Lewisville; three grandchildren, April Mack, Rodd Grimes and Robert Shane Donnelly; five great-grandchildren, Justin Mack, Jaime Mack, Ryder Grimes, Kaylin Donnelly and Cole Donnelly; brothers, Jim Collins, Jerry Hill and David Hefner all of Oklahoma. Visitation will be on Monday, June 25, 2012 from 6:00 8:00 p.m. at Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home in Irving. Service to be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at Northview Baptist Church in Lewisville where she was a member. Brother Kenneth Wells will officiate. Burial will follow at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas.
