Obituary

Norma fought a good fight and completed her journey with unwavering faith in Jesus Christ. She began her life right here in Dallas, Texas and never lived outside of her beloved Lone Star State. Her passion for life was lived out each and every day. Her faithfulness and partnership in ministry with her husband, the Rev. Charles V. Davis, has impacted thousands across our great country. Norma loved her Charles with passion, and now has been rewarded by a great reunion with the many family and friends that have gone before. Norma is survived by her son, Rev. Edward Davis, wife Renee; granddaughter, Daina Gardner, husband Christopher; and great granddaughter, Abigail Gardner. There are a host of other family which includes her sisters-in-law, Marjorie Pearsol, Ruth Betsill, Fay Levine and Amy Hornsby, and many nieces and nephews, all connected as part of our great Davis family. A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Wednesday at Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. A service for Norma will be at Calvary Church, 4401 North State Highway 161 in Irving, Texas at 11:30 AM, Thursday, December 3, 2015. Interment will follow at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway in Dallas at 2:00 PM, Lane A.
