Norm Harris, a resident of Abilene, Texas, and previously of Irving, died on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at the age of 66. Born April 25, 1950 in Abilene, Texas to Isaac Duke Harris and Vonceil Haile Harris. Norm was a carpenter and served in the U.S. Navy. Survivors include the mother of his children, Denise Harris; daughter, Amy Harris of Dallas, Texas; son, Zach Harris and wife Lisa of Fort Worth, Texas; sisters, Brenda Collins of Abilene and Jeannie Williams of Austin; three grandchildren, Kai Lenzen, Avery Campbell and Isaac Harris; one great grandchild, Logan Lenzen; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Sturdavant. A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 1st at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 W. Airport Freeway, Irving, Texas 75062.
