Ngoc Tan Nguyen, age 73, a resident of Irving since 1994, died Monday, September 29, 2014 at Baylor Medical Center in Richardson. Born May 29, 1941 in Vietnam, he was the son of Sung Tan Nguyen and Tuong Nguyen. He was an electronics assembler. Survivors include his wife, Tuyet Tran of Irving; son, Chanh T. Nguyen and wife Cathy Tran of Irving; a daughter, Trang Nguyen of Sachse; three grandchildren, Anthony Nguyen, Vivian Nguyen, and Qui Le; a sister, Kim Nguyen of Oregon, and two sisters in Vietnam. Prayers and viewing will be 6:30 p.m. 8:30 p.m. Wednesday and Friday evenings and 1:00 p.m. 4:00 p.m. on Thursday at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. The funeral is 8:00 a.m. 10:00 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with cremation to follow.
