Nettie Kathryn "Cata" Campa, 86, a resident of Irving since 1984, died Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at a Dallas hospital. Born March 7, 1935 in Bridgeport, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Wiley Loyd Preskitt and Velma Kathryn Lusk Preskitt. She grew up in Bridgeport. She married Raymond Mata Campa May 7, 1970 in Tucumcari, New Mexico. She worked in industrial factories before her retirement. Preceded in death by her parents, six siblings, Margaret Brown, Blance Marie Brown, Echo D. Brooks, Maxine Greer, Loyd Preskitt, Jr. and Bobby Preskitt; and a grandson Albert William Ulloa, she is survived by her husband of 51 years, Raymond Mata Campa; two daughters Nancy Sue Walker of Grand Prairie and Reynetta Ann Lackey and husband Joshua of Richmond, Texas; two sons, David Long and William Gregory Walker, Jr. of Tulsa; six grandchildren, James Ray Ulloa, Heather Ray Long, Matthew Arick Helms, Sara Kathryn Williams, Rachael Anne Moran, and Gavin Walker Lawrence; and nine great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 3:00 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. There will be a short ceremony at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, 1413 East Irving Blvd. in Irving. SERVICES
