Mary Nadine Carroll, 89, a 70-year resident of Irving, died on March 8, 2018 at a local hospital. She was born on August 23, 1928 in Childress, Texas to Jack and Mary Rose (Embry) Grayson. Nadine was a dedicated Christian, devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed playing dominoes (42) at church game night, loved to crochet and cook. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, J.S. Red Carroll; daughter Sharon Rojas; granddaughter, Alicia Coulson and six siblings. Survivors include two daughters, Gwen Bell of Fort Worth and Judy Bradford of Irving; grandchildren, Kimberlee Stokes and husband Bobby, Sammy Bradford, Amanda Rojas, and Benjamin Rojas; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 10 at Oakview Baptist Church, 1004 South Story Road, Irving, Texas 75060. Funeral services will begin at 11:00. Rev. Ron Kurtz and Dr. Jim Gerlach will officiate. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery in Grand Prairie.
