The Mukeba Family through the note of its representatives Prince Mukeba and Nana Botelua announces the funeral programs of their brother and son Moumou Mukeba Wanjila who died in Fort Worth, TX on April 13, 2023. Moumou was born February 19, 1978 in Kinshasa, Congo to Mukeba Wanjila Jean Pierre and Ilongosi Kendjo Carroline, He grew up in his uncles home with fifteen brothers and sisters. Twelve from his father and three from his mother. He was an uncle of nephews and nieces from a big family (Mukeba, Ilongosi, Lututa, Baoko and Botelua). He was single and had no children. He loved to eat fried food, drink wine, and whisky (no beer). He loved music and movies but was not a good dancer. He received a high-school Diploma and went on to study Engineering in university (ISTA) Congo. He earned an associate degree from Northlake College. He worked with ABM Company at DFW Airport, with the Michael Company, CTDI Company and with Amazon at the time of his death. Moumou loved to dress in the finest fashions. Such designers as Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Ralph Lauren, Polo, and other name brands were his passion. From 2018 he survived a car accident, and we would call him "IMORTEL". Now in 2023, we are calling him a WARRIOR. After all, this is how we say, rest in peace. The viewing will take place at Colonial Funeral Home of Irving, May 5, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A funeral oration and a meditation will be pronounced at Colonial Funeral Home of Irving, 606 West Airport Freeway, Irving, TX 75062, May 6, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Interment will be held at Rolling Oaks Memorial Center Cemetery, 400 S. Freeport Parkway, Coppell, TX at 1:00 p.m. The family is holding a recollection just after the funeral at the Interconnection party room at Papa Delon's Irving location, 3325 Country Club Dr W. Irving, TX 75038.
