MOLLY L. DAVIES, age 62, of Irving, formerly of Abilene, Texas, died Friday, August 13, 2010 at an Irving hospital. Born April 12, 1948 in Post, Texas to William Elbert "Lefty" Davies and Ruby Ray Harrison Davies, she moved to Abilene at an early age. She attended the Highland Church of Christ Handicapped Program and West Texas Rehabilitation Center. After her mother's death in 1995 she moved to Irving where she took part in United Cerebral Palsy of Dallas. She also was a participant in the Golden Touch Ministry of Oak View Baptist Church. She is survived by a sister Jerilyn Cook and husband Robert of Irving; twin brother, Wendell Davies and wife Penelope of Amarillo; a nephew Jonathan Davies Cook of Irving; and several cousins. Funeral service will be 7:00 p.m. Monday at Oak View Baptist Church, 1004 South Story Road, in Irving. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until service time at the church. Burial will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Post Cemetery in Post, Texas under the direction of Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home of Irving.
