Mitty Jean Tyler, 62, of Grand Prairie, formerly a long-time resident of Irving, died Monday, October 4, 2021 at her home. Born September 2, 1959 in Lake Village Arkansas, she is the daughter of Jeraldine Cain Tucker and the late Albert Brooks. She grew up in Lake Village Arkansas and was a secretary in the retail sales industry. Preceded in death by her father and a daughter, Ayani Elisha Tyler December 20, 2009, she is survived by two daughters, Calondra Tyler and Chaundra Tyler; two sisters, Jacqueline Bartee and Helen Herron; five brothers, Charles Brooks, Enos Hamilton, Gregory McCree, Vincent Tucker and Norman Tucker; and three grandchildren, Daphne Hankins, Austin Wright, and Jackson Irby. The family will receive friends 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. Another viewing and visitation will be at 10:00 am. Monday, October 11, 2021 at Lake Village Assembly Church 150 Lynn Lane in Lake Village, Arkansas. The funeral will follow at 11:00 a.m. Monday. Burial will be in the New Cemetery at Lake Village Arkansas SERVICES
