Mingo Orta, age 61, of Dallas, died Sunday, April 26, 2020 at a Dallas hospital. He was born Domingo Gomez Orta in Dallas on November 2, 1958 to Gilbert V. and Esther Gomez Orta. Mingo was a longtime employee of Jackson Pottery of Dallas. Mingo is preceded in death by his mother Esther; a brother, Gilbert Orta, Jr.; sisters, Elizabeth Fajardo and Stella Javid. He is survived by his father, Gilbert V. Orta and sisters, Angelita Orta, Linda Orta, Terry Hernandez and Mary Andrews. No service is planned at this time.
