Millie York, 84, a resident of Irving for 61 years, died Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Baylor Irving Hospital. A retired school teacher with IISD and member of the JOY Group at Plymouth Park Baptist Church in Irving, she is survived by two daughters, Alana Bailey and her husband Geary of Irving and Connie Yow and her husband Craig of Burnsville, North Carolina; 3 grandchildren Jonathan Bray of Dallas, Joshua Bray of Jonesboro, Georgia and Jennifer Jones of Irving; 11 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild; and a brother, Eddy Markham of Eden, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, W. Alan York and her grandson, Christopher Weeks. Burial will be at 2:15 p.m., Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery (Lane 2).
