Mildred L. Rogers, age 76, a resident of Irving for fifty years, died Friday, January 14, 2011 at Baylor Medical Center in Irving. Born August 1, 1934 in Texarkana, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Fred Rogers and Gracie Pearl Tefteller Rogers. She married John Rogers, Jr. November 19, 1955 in Dallas. He preceded her in death October 14, 1995. A homemaker, she was Pentecostal. Survivors include a daughter Sandra Lee McKee and husband James of Yantis, Texas; a son John Allen Rogers of Grand Prairie, Texas; a grandson, James Allen McKee of Yantis, Texas; and a great granddaughter LeeAnn McKee. Visitation was 7:00 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 18, 2010 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway, Irving, Texas. The funeral was 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.
