Mildred Lillian Hodges Buchanan (Mimi) passed away on August 29, 2016 in Irving Texas from Alzheimer disease. Born January 26, 1931 in Dallas Texas. She was a great Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Mimi loved sewing, quilting, cooking, scrapbooking and was a strong Christian woman. She is proceeded in death by her husband James Buchanan, father Dawson Hodges, mother Thelma Hodges, sisters Gladys Davis and Clara Bow Pyle and granddaughter Chavaun Lenee Buchanan. Survived by five children and their spouses, Deborah (Donnie), Roger (Zenda), Barbara (Stan), Judy (Ken) and Ron (Cindy); Brother Gene Hodges and Sisters, Doris McMillen and Sandy Henry; 13 Grandchildren; 14 Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation and funeral services were held at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway, Irving Texas. Mildred was laid to rest at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
