Michael "Mike" Overstreet, 50, of Little Elm, Texas died at home Sunday, August 30, 2020. Born February 15, 1970 in Dallas, Texas to Dewey and Nancy Allynn Locke Overstreet. He grew up in Irving, Texas and graduated from Irving High School. On December 31, 2011 he and Lisa Whirledge were married in Saginaw, Texas. They lived in Savannah, Texas before moving to Little Elm. He worked as a Senior Construction Inspector for Peleton Land Solutions in Frisco for a year and half before his death. Mike is survived by his wife, Lisa Overstreet of Little Elm; sons, Sean Overstreet and Shane Overstreet both of Grapevine, Texas; Stepsons, Aaron Jackson of Clarksville, TN, Ryan Jackson of Alamogordo, NM and Dylan Jackson of Little Elm; stepdaughters, Aylssa Jackson of Reno, NV and Danielle Jackson of Little Elm; mother, Nancy Allynn Overstreet ; brother, Dennis Keith Deal and eight grandchildren, Devin, Matthew, Avery, Tanner, Emma, Kinley, Grayson and Everly. He is preceded in death by his father, Dewey Overstreet; sister, Robin Lynn Deal and brother, Tommy Overstreet. Family will receive friends from 12:00 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 4, 2020 with funeral services at 1:00 p.m. at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway, Irving, Texas. Committal services immediately following at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, 1413 E. Irving Boulevard, Irving.
