Maxine M. Latham, 97, a resident of The Colony since 1975, died Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at her home. Born June 16, 1923 in Okemo, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of the late McKinley Ross and Ola Mae Warf Ross. She married Jerry Latham in 1982. He preceded her in death December 5, 2019. She was a retired inspector for Stocktons Apparel in Dallas and member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in The Colony. Preceded in death by her parents, a brother Billie Joe Ross, sisters, Christene and Shirley; a daughter Patricia Sue Reynolds; son, Robert Cooper; step-son Larry Latham; and her husband Jerry Latham, she is survived by two daughters, Earline Kubicek and husband John of Hickory Creek and Rebecca Staton and husband Jack of Lone Oak; step-daughter Valerie Latham of Houston; step-son, Zane Latham and wife Carolyn of Valley View; twenty-two grandchildren; thirty-three great grandchildren; three brothers, Bobby Jean Ross, Paul Ross, and Johnny Lynn Ross; and four sisters, Betty Anny Reynolds, Barbara Ann Harrison, Audrey Gillingham, and Wanda Ryan. The family will receive friends noon-1:00 p.m. Monday, April 5, 2021 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 4809 South Colony Blvd in The Colony 75056. The funeral will follow there at 1:00 p.m. Monday.
