Age 56, a resident of Irving for 48 years, passed away July 31, 2015 in Dallas. He was born September 19, 1958 in Florence, Colorado. He is the son of Max E. Munson, Sr. and Wilma Lewis Munson of Irving. Max was a member of the S.F.O.A. (Southwest Football Official Association) and refereed high school and some college level football games. He was in Sales all his life. Max is survived by his loving son, Leevi Munson; his parents; a sister, Dianna Ekis and husband Warren; and a brother, Garry Munson and wife Sandra, all of Irving. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 15, 2015 at Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving.
