MASON B. BACCUS, age 42, a resident of Irving all of his life, died Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Baylor Medical Center in Irving. Born July 13, 1971 in Dallas, Texas, he attended Highland Park Presbyterian school and the Winston School. Formerly employed at Muzak, Mason was the owner of Baccus Communications. He was a member of Plymouth Park Baptist Church in Irving. Preceded in death by a brother, Jason Cole Baccus in 2000, survivors include his wife, Samantha Sue Baccus of Tuskahoma, Oklahoma; step-daughters, Jordan Diana McCormick and Paige Marie McCormick; mother, Darla Baccus of Hide Away Lake; father, John B. Baccus and wife Lana of Irving; brother, Ben Baccus and wife Frances of Elkhart, Indiana; sister, Belynda Berzas and husband Jonathan of Bellefonte, Pennsylvania; nieces and nephews, Brandon Berzas, Joseph Berzas, Jacob Berzas, Emma Baccus, Caleb Baccus, Micah Baccus, Mallory Baccus and Caitlin Foster-Bright. The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. The funeral will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 22 at Plymouth Park Baptist Church, 1714 North Story Road in Irving. A graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday at Long Creek Cemetery near Granbury in Hood County, Texas.
