MARY ZITA TREAT, age 94, died Thursday, August 23, 2012 in Plano. She was born October 12, 1917 in Webster, Massachusetts. Preceded in death by her husband, Jessie A. Treat and granddaughter, Diane Treat, she is survived by her son, Albert Treat and wife Patricia of Allen; daughter, Cynthia Hodges and husband Leonard of Rochester, New York; five grandchildren, Beth Shepard, Lennie Hodges, Dan Hodges, Janet Ammosov, and David & Pamela Hathaway; two step-grandchildren, Paula McGill and Renee Shannon; five great grandchildren, Larry Shepard, III, Gregory Ammosov, Jr. Tyler Hodges, Danielle Hodges and Hunter Hathaway; one great-great granddaughter, Sofia Shepard. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., Sunday; viewing from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday, all at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 W. Airport Freeway in Irving. The funeral service is 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 28, 2012 in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving.
