LURA STREET, age 93, a resident of Irving for 53 years, passed away on December 10, 2016. Born November 11, 1923 in Winnsboro, Louisiana to Thomas Kirby McGee and Sina McMahan McGee. She married Warren R. Street on June 9, 1951 in San Bernardino, California. Lura was a homemaker and attended Oak Haven United Methodist Church in Irving, Texas. Preceded in death by her parents and siblings. Survivors include her husband, Warren Street of Irving, Texas; sons, Warren Richard Street, Jr., of Carrollton, Texas, Rodney Louis Street of Wiley, Texas; and grandchildren, Joshua, Jeremy, and Warren III. The family received friends on Friday, December 16, 2016 just prior to the funeral service at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 W. Airport Freeway, Irving, TX 75062.
