Mary Mefford, a long-time resident of Irving, Texas, died on June 28, 2016 at the age of 88. Mary was born on May 25, 1928 in Memphis, Tennessee. She worked for Sears for over 20 years and was a member of the Heritage Senior Center in Irving. Preceded in death by her husband, John Mefford in 1998 and son, Robert Mefford; she is survived by sons, John Mefford of Irving and Richard Davis of Garland; grandson, Brent Mefford and two great grandchildren. Graveside service took place on Friday, July 1, 2016 at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, 1413 East Irving Boulevard, Irving, Texas 75060. Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Mary's name.
