Mary L. King, 89, died on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Longmeadow Health Care Center in Justin, Texas. She was born on February 19, 1929 in Austin, Texas to Vernon Clyde and Ethel (Holybee) Roye. She married Lonnie Edward King on April 16, 1949 in Austin, Texas. Mary was a member of Oak View Baptist Church in Irving. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie King (April 2005) and daughter, Sissy Cynthia King (June 2007); sister, Elnora Shaw and brother, Milton Roye. Survivors include: son, Mike King and wife Julie of Itasca, daughter, Susan Rogers and husband Jack of Blanco, and son, Randall King and wife Laura of Denton; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and two great, great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 12:30 p.m. at Oak View Baptist Church, 1004 South Story Road, Irving, TX 7506. Dr. Jim Gerlach will officiate. Mary will be buried at 2:15p.m., Thursday at DFW National Cemetery, Lane 2, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211. SERVICES
