Age 76, a resident of Irving for 54 years, died Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at the Villages on MacArthur. Born June 18, 1938 in Dallas, she was the daughter of Lester E. Stewart and Golden R. Jordan Stewart. She married Robert C. DeLira August 18, 1953 in Dallas. A medical coder and homemaker, she was named Volunteer of the Year for the Dallas and Texas Mental Health Connection. She was a member of Holy Family of Nazareth Catholic Church. Preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Linda D. Weller and two brothers Richard and Jack Stewart, she is survived by her husband Robert of Irving; daughter, Mary D. Weyant and husband Randy of Irving; sons, Bobby DeLira and wife Heidi of Richardson and Jay H. Moore of Dallas; and three grandchildren Aaron Weller and wife Danielle of Fort Hood, Jessica E. Smith and husband Nathan of Plano, and Hanna L. Jordan and husband Ryan of Frisco. The vigil and Rosary will be said 7:00 p.m. Friday, February 13 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Holy Family of Nazareth Catholic Church, 2323 Cheyenne Street in Irving. Father Albert Becher as Celebrant. Private entombment will be at Calvary Hill Mausoleum in Dallas. Memorials may be made to any Cancer Association.
