Mary F. Choate, 78, a lifelong resident of Dallas, died September 10, 2021 in an Irving hospital. Born May 27, 1943 in Dallas, she was the daughter of the late Earl Woodruff Choate and Mary Vera Walker Choate. She was a member of Northway Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Dolores Robinson and Doris Wallace, and a brother, James Choate, she is survived by nephews and nieces, Clifford Robinson and wife Cathy of Denton, Rhonda Mayo and husband Gary of Irving, Linda Branch and husband Robert of Watauga, Melanie Skidmore and husband Mike of Grand Prairie, Diane Kuzniar and husband Randy of Mauldin, South Carolina, Frank Wallace, Jr. and wife Donna of Caddo Mills, Valerie Roper of Aledo, and Laura Futujma of Elgin, Texas. A graveside memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 11, 2022 at Grove Hill Cemetery, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas 75228. Rev. Steve Hardin will officiate, under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home of Irving, 606 West Airport Freeway 75062. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, the Diabetes Association, or American Heart Association. SERVICES
