MARY LOUISE BUCHANAN, 92, a former long-time resident of Irving, died Saturday, July 22, 2017 at the Atria of Richardson. Born August 20, 1924 in Cumby, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Hershel J. Dyer and Esther L. Baldwin Dyer. She was married to Charles Aden Buck Buchanan June 19, 1945 in Denton. A homemaker, Maryl, or Sis has lived in Richardson the past three years, San Angelo for a few years, early years in Denton and also from 1996 2011 there and Irving 1966-1996. She was preceded in death by a son Charles David Buchanan April 8, 1950, two brothers, Herschel ODell Dyer and Russell Forbes Dyer, and by her husband Charles Aden Buck Buchanan January 7, 1988. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include three sons, Charles Martin Buchanan and wife Debra of Cody, WY, Thomas James Buchanan and wife Sheryl of Dallas, and Andrew Dyer Buchanan and wife Tammy of Fort Worth; a daughter, Bonnie Lynn Buchanan of Palestine, TX; eleven grandchildren, Jon Buchanan and wife Amy of College Station, Ben Buchanan of Spanish Fork, Utah, Charles Buchanan of Jacksonville, FL, Britney Palmer and husband Chris of Denver, CO, Jonathan Buchanan of San Antonio, Allison Keedy and husband Erik of Manor, TX, Alex Buchanan of Temple, Ashlyn Buchanan of Fort Worth, Bethany Hambrick of Fort Worth, Annelise Carpenter of Lawton, OK, and Pearson Carpenter of Decatur; three great grandchildren, Addix Buchanan, Creedence Buchanan, and Noah Buchanan; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 25, 2017 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Lake Dallas Church of Christ, 502 Carlisle Drive, Lake Dallas 75065. The funeral will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the auditorium. Kent Hall, a nephew, will moderate. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, 3801 Roselawn Drive in Denton, 76207 under the direction of Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home of Irving. SERVICES
