Martha Blood, of Irving, Texas, died on Sunday, September 25, 2016, at the age of 91. Born May 7, 1925 in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Earl Holmes and Jewell (Hughes) Bell, Martha was a 1943 graduate of Little Rock High School. Preceded in death by husband Harry Blood , Martha is survived by daughter, Judith Loueda Hanson and husband James of Irving, son, Earl Dilday Blood and wife Darlene of Castle Rock, Colorado, stepson, Patrick Henry Blood and wife Elaine of Bedford; grandchildren, Michael Blood, Jeff Blood and wife Paula of Toledo, Ohio, Alicia Blood of Bedford, Jennifer Boyett and husband Ray of Ft. Worth, Richard Blood and wife Tammie of Castle Rock, Colorado, Jarrod Blood of Arkansas; four great-grandchildren, Jayden Boyett, Bay Boyett, Benjamin Costanza and Dillon Blood. Martha was a member of Northgate United Methodist Church. A Memorial Service was held on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at Northgate United Methodist Church, 3700 W. Northgate Road, Irving, Texas 75062. Memorials can be made to Northgate United Methodist Church, The VNA Meals on Wheels or a favorite animal shelter.
